Medical Plans
  The Western States Health & Welfare Trust Fund of the OPEIU Benefit Plan makes available the following medical plan options to you and your dependents.   Click on the appropriate tab or link to review details of that option's coverage. Additional information can be found below including plan coverage comparisons and information on how to enroll.

  How to enroll
  As coverage effective dates differ according to hours worked, please contact the Plan Administrator to verify when your coverage begins. Please see the Eligibility section for information on how eligibility for coverage is determined.

You will automatically be enrolled in the Regence PPO Plan as of your effective date unless you choose an HMO option in advance. If you are interested in enrolling in one of the HMO options, please carefully review their information provided on this site and then print, complete, and mail the enrollment form to the Plan Administrator.

Identification cards for the medical, dental and the prescription plan (if applicable) will be sent to you shortly after your effective date for coverage is verified. You will receive identification cards directly from the Carrier based on the plan you elected at the time of enrollment.   Annual Open Enrollment
  You may change your medical and/or dental coverage choice during the annual open enrollment.  The annual open enrollment period is determined and announced by the Board of Trustees.  In order to change plans during the annual open enrollment period, you must complete an enrollment form and return it to the Plan Administrator.
